Premium Lagoon Excursion: Murano Glassblowing & Burano

Alesia was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and shared important and relevant information during the tour and even when we had free time, she was also available and willing to answer questions or make suggestions about what we were interested in!

We spent a magnificent day in Murano and Burano! Our tour guide, Alessia S, was extremely knowledgeable and a real joy to be around. As we boated from Venice to Murano and Burano Islands, Alessia S took her time to explain our surroundings and answer any questions.. Murano was captivating as we watched and learned the different glass blowing methods. The glass products were luxurious and we couldn’t leave without shipping some home. Burano was charming and inviting. The colorful houses brought so much magnetism and life to the island. The island shops offered a great variety….something for everyone. We enjoyed the fresh baked goods. Both islands were very clean and they had quality products in the shops. The total tour is about 5 hours, which includes boating, demonstrations and time on your own. It’s a great tour. We only wished it was about 2.5 hours longer in order to spend more time on each island. It is evident, that our tour guide, Alessia S, takes pleasure in what she does and enjoys sharing her historic insight with others in the most charming and engaging way. “Highly recommend any of Alessia S’s tours!”

Our guide Sarah was great, she was very personable, shared interesting history and facts of the islands, and was adaptable to the wishes of the group. Would highly recommend.
