This is a fun tour, you get a taste from several (very) different local restaurants. The portions you get aren’t large but adequate since there are several (six if I recall correctly).

The Food on Foot tour was absolutely brilliant! Every stop offered a delicious and diverse variety of tastings — a true feast for the senses. Our guide, Lisa, was phenomenal — friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local food scene and history. She really brought the experience to life. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves great food and great company!

My girlfriend and myself chose the Lower East Side Food Tour with tour guide extraordinaire, Brian Hoffman. We were able to sample 7 different foods from a variety of ethnic restaurants. Brian looked after each of us very well, ensuring we had adequate seating, cutlery, etc. He was very attentive to each person on the tour, and spent time getting to know each of us. I would highly recommend Brian and this tour to anyone visiting NYC. We were able to learn a lot about the area, its history, and the various cultures in that area. Brian was very informative and shared interesting facts. We were very full after all the samples!

Absolutely fantastic tour. I would highly recommend it. Lots to learn and lots of delicious foods to sample.
