These menus usually include a soup, <em>prato do dia <\/em>(dish of the day), dessert, and a coffee. If they&rsquo;re really in a rush, they&rsquo;ll order something quick at the counter like a soup and a <em><a href=\"\/blog\/bifana\/\">bifana<\/a><\/em> (pork sandwich).<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Afternoon_Snack_4_pm_to_5_pm\"><\/span>Afternoon Snack (4 p.m. to 5 p.m.)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2><p>You can get through the day without an afternoon snack, but why would you? Around 4 p.m., Portuguese will head to the caf&eacute; for another quick bite. Sweet or savory? It&rsquo;s really up to you. We&rsquo;re not going to tell you off for having another <em>pastel de nata<\/em>.
