There&rsquo;s a variety of local cheeses, the flaming chorizo, and our all-time favorite, the <i>pica-pau<\/i> (small pieces of meat, typically beef or pork).<\/p><p>To wash it all down, there&rsquo;s of course <a href=\"https:\/\/devourtours.com\/blog\/portuguese-wine\/\">wine<\/a>. Our favorite spot to eat chicken in Pr&iacute;ncipe Real is Frangasqueira Nacional (<i>Tv. Monte do Carmo, 19<\/i>). Their <strong>chicken with <a href=\"https:\/\/devourtours.com\/blog\/best-piri-piri-lisbon\/\">Piri-Piri<\/a> sauce<\/strong> is a classic, but you can also <strong>order it with butter<\/strong>.<\/p><p>There aren&rsquo;t many places to sit inside, so your best bet is ordering takeaway like you&rsquo;ll probably notice most people are doing anyway. No one waits empty-handed, though; <strong>you can order a beer, wine, or cocktail while you wait<\/strong>.<\/p><p>Chef Kiko has created a series of <i>ceviches <\/i>exclusively for their <em>cevicheria<\/em>. Among them, there is a Portuguese version with cod and <i>tremo&ccedil;os<\/i> (Lupin beans).
